Life threatening
Call 999 or go to A&E now if:

- you have seriously harmed yourself – for example, by taking a drug overdose
A mental health emergency should be taken as seriously as a medical emergency.
Urgent but not life threatening
Visit an urgent care centre if:
- You have an urgent medical issue requiring on the day attention
Non-urgent
Use NHS 111 if:
- You need help now, but it’s not an emergency
There will be someone to provide you with advice and to direct you to a clinician if it is necessary.

Open from 8am until 8pm, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Patients with minor injuries may find it easier to attend the Minor Injuries Unit at Gravesham Community Hospital, where they will usually be seen more quickly. It is staffed by a team of Nurse Practitioners; the specially designed unit is equipped to deal with a wide range of minor injuries including minor head injuries, limb problems and wounds.
Dental problems
Patients should contact their own dentist during normal practice opening hours. Alternatively for dental emergencies please call NHS 111 for advice and help with finding an emergency dentist.
